Nvidia releases script to easily install GeForce Now

A new script automatically installs GeForce Now on your Steam Deck.

Tom Warren for The Verge:

While the script automates the process of using the SteamOS terminal app to install Chrome and enable gamepad support, you’ll still need to make some manual tweaks to get GeForce Now working as you’d expect.

Launching the script will automatically install Google Chrome, adjust the browser for gamepad use, and add GeForce Now to your Steam Library.

While this script is better than we had previously, I still would have preferred a proper app. There is a third-party app available on GitHub and the Discover store, and it's what I used when I was trying GeForce Now for a while. It's been a much better experience, so while I'm happy to see something official, I'd still recommend that app.

And while we're on the topic of GeForce Now; there are 24 new games available or coming later this month, including Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Honkai: Star Rail, Orcs Must Die! 3, and more.
